How to Bodyart is a self-styled e-book that’s been selling online for some time. Created by David Grisaffi, it promises a series of eight DVDs that, when bought, will ” Unlock the Truth About Your Fitness,” and show you how to “tone muscle and burn fat.” But what is the real deal about How to Bodyart? The premise of How to Bodyart isn’t too far off from the reality of traditional weight loss. You lose weight by cutting out calories and burning more fat in your body – ideally by doing this while maintaining muscle mass. That’s not entirely possible though, as our bodies are designed to resist very low calorie diets, and very high levels of physical activity. So you can’t really expect to ‘tone muscle and burn fat’ by doing hours of cardio, right? That doesn’t mean you can’t try, though.
How to Bodyart consists of a series of instructional videos that show you various exercises to target specific body areas. For example, there’s a series of pushups and sit ups showing you how to perform them correctly. There’s also a whole series of abdominal exercises showing you how to strengthen your core and back muscles. They’re all done using only your body weight, which is pretty impressive.
As you might imagine, a series of pushups and situps won’t get you very far. To really tone muscle and burn fat, you need to combine exercise with proper nutrition. Grisaffi stresses that you should follow a healthy diet, and also that you should “burn fat in the area you want to get rid of” (i.e your stomach). So he suggests ordering two meals per day – one from each of your big meals – so that your metabolism stays on high. Eating six small meals throughout the day is recommended instead.
The How to Bodyart video series doesn’t stop at exercises. It goes on to say that you should take supplements that contain policosanol, chromium, magnesium, copper, and selenium. These are natural substances that your body needs to produce energy, regulate hormone levels, and get rid of toxins. Also recommended are herbal remedies like dandelion root and red raspberry leaf. Both of these herbs are said to reduce fat tissue and increase endurance.
You probably already know that the more exercise you get, the more muscle mass you’ll build. How to Bodyart emphasizes resistance training as the way to build muscle. However, if you’re not an athlete, then you probably think this means you need weights and machines to get bulky. That’s not necessarily the case. While machines do give you a much more effective workout, especially when combined with proper form, they’re certainly not necessary. If you want to bulk up, you can do it without a machine or even if you combine weight lifting with other exercises.
How to Bodyart includes an interactive DVD that walks you through the exercises step-by-step. I found it easy to follow and actually found it to be very efficient. It gave me a good overview of what I needed to do to get toned and muscular in a hurry.
At the end of the How to Bodyart video series, they recommend a program called The Truth About Six Pack Abs. This is by far the most comprehensive and complete program I’ve seen. In fact, I still use some of the exercises from this program every single day to get rid of fat and get tighter muscles. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about building muscle.
